$113,730.80 – $138,240.50 Annually

Description:

The County of Solano seeks a Human Resources Analyst (Principal) with a strong background in labor and employee relations, progressive discipline, classification, recruitment and selection, and supervision. Candidate must be comfortable with working in a high-volume environment, and have the ability to think critically and with agility in a variety of situations. Experience in coaching supervisors and managers through progressive discipline, and administering discipline, is essential. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing timely and effective service to all County departments, as well as share our department’s commitment to equity. “Everyone’s voice is heard and valued. Qualifications:

Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge, skills and abilities would be: Education: Bachelor’s degree is required from an accredited college or university, with a major preferably in Business Administration, Public Administration, Human Resources, or a closely related field. Experience: Four (4) years of professional level experience in personnel work including recruitment, selection, classification, labor relations or risk management. Three (3) years of the personnel experience must have been related to public agencies. Note: Additional experience may substitute on a year for year basis for the educational requirement.
