Contra Costa County Human Resources Department is seeking forward-thinking, innovative HR professionals with extensive working experience with human resources information systems, most desirably with PeopleSoft. The ideal candidate is solution-oriented, versatile and accustomed to working in a complex and ever-changing administrative environment.

The Human Resources Department is recruiting to fill two (2) vacancies located in Martinez- one primarily supporting the Personnel Services Unit and the other the Benefits Unit.

Under the direction of the Human Resources Director or designee, the positions oversee and coordinate the County human resources information systems (HRIS) including analyzing, maintaining, modifying, and updating the HRIS. These positions provide operational and technical expertise for assigned functional areas and assist with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities

Qualifications:

Education: Possession of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. Degree and/or college coursework in business administration, human resources management, industrial psychology, public administration, information technology/systems, or a closely related field is preferred

Experience: Three (3) years of full-time or its equivalent experience performing business process analysis for human resources information systems (HRIS) and workforce management transactions.

Substitution: Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis up to a maximum of two (2) years.
