Description:

The County of Riverside Flood Control and Water Conservation District has multiple opportunities for a Junior Engineer/Assistant Engineer/Assistant Civil Engineer/Associate Civil Engineer located in Riverside. The incumbent(s) will perform varied and difficult flood control engineering work in one or more of the District’s engineering divisions, which include the planning, design, construction, and operation and maintenance of Stormwater Management Facilities. The selected candidate will be tasked with assisting in the design and planning of public works improvement projects, designing simple hydraulic structures, performing hydrologic flow studies of flood control facilities, preparing hydro-logic studies on various structures, hydraulic analysis, plans, profiles, cross-sections, quantity estimates, and horizontal and vertical curve alignment computations.
