Description:

The County of Fresno Department of Human Resources is offering an outstanding career opportunity to an experienced employee relations professional with exceptional communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills as a Labor Relations Analyst III. The vacancy exists within the Labor Relations Division and involves preparing and participating in negotiation and bargaining sessions with employee organizations; administering the discrimination complaint, employee grievance and dispute resolution process; and analyzing management and union proposals, as well as information on wages, benefits, working conditions, and other terms and conditions of employment for County employees to determine cost and policy implications.

Qualifications:

Education: Possession of a bachelor’s degree that is acceptable within the United States accredited college or university system.

Experience: Two (2) years of full-time, paid professional work experience equivalent to that gained as a Human Resources Analyst with the County of Fresno conducting labor relations activities in one or more of the following areas:

•Administration of grievance resolution procedures.
•MOU negotiations and/or preparation of labor agreements.
•Consultation and/or meet and confer regarding hours, wages, and other terms and conditions of employment.
•Workplace investigations.
