The incumbent operates and maintains water and wastewater systems throughout the County; operates and services equipment; and collects samples and performs laboratory testing procedures.

Qualifications:

The position requires one (1) year of experience comparable to that of a Utility Worker with Madera County; equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade; possession of a Grade I Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator Certificate OR a Grade I Water Treatment Operator Certificate AND a Grade I Water Distribution Operator Certificate, issued by the State Water Resources Control Board.
