$63,708.00 – $86,748.00 Annually DOE

Description:

The City of Novato is seeking an energetic and self-motivated Management Analyst I/II to provide high level administrative support to the City Manager’s Office. This position will work closely with the executive team and will be intricately involved in the development, planning, coordinating City Manager initiatives such as the development of an agency communication plan, including the City Manager’s Newsletter. The successful candidate will perform research and analyses on legislative and local government issues and make recommendations on the development and/or improvement of city-wide programs. The ideal candidate will have a collaborative approach and be comfortable presenting to a wide variety of groups, including executive staff and community committees. Further, the successful candidate will demonstrate good judgment and discretion, the ability to be flexible and maintain confidentiality, excellent interpersonal skills, honesty and a friendly approach.

Qualifications:

The equivalent of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in public administration, business administration, or a related field. Possession of a Master’s degree is desirable.
Sufficient administrative and analytical experience to obtain the required knowledge, skills, and abilities required. Experience working in a municipal or other public agency setting is desirable.
