$58,281.60 to $70,824.00 Annually

Description:

The Mental Health Therapist assigned to the Latino Outreach and Treatment Program is responsible for a caseload of primary Spanish speaking consumers and must also be able to communicate with the monolingual public at large. Candidates must be fluent Spanish speakers/writers. Translation of English-only material is often necessary. This program is funded through the Mental Health Services Act (MHSA) and provides targeted outreach to populations in underserved Latino communities, particularly to identified pockets of poverty in the north and south areas of the county.

This position may provide services in a variety of locations including a clinic as well as in family homes and the community.

Qualifications:

NOTE: Applicants MUST be licensed LMFT, LCSW, LPCC or Registered ASW, MFT-Intern or PCC Intern.
Ideal candidates will be Latino/bi-cultural. They will have knowledge of evidenced based practices for children and their families that have suffered trauma and are experiencing severe mental health issues and they will have experience in providing mental health services in community based settings such as at home and school. Computer and communication skills are necessary.
