Under direction, to plan, organize, direct, and coordinate the operations and maintenance of park facilities and trails throughout Riverside County; to provide administrative and technical direction to staff; to monitor maintenance contracts; and to do other work as required.

Education: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in forestry, park administration, public administration, or a closely related field. (Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on the basis of 30 semester or 45 quarter units equaling one year of full-time experience.)
Experience: Three years of experience in a supervisory or lead capacity in park maintenance and/or operations.
Qualified Pesticide Applicators Certificate, Certified Playground Safety Inspector Certificate, and Certified Pool Operators or Aquatic Facility Operator certifications are highly desired.
