Level I: $24.87 – $30.34 Hourly, $4,310.80 – $5,258.93 Monthly
Level II: $28.87 – $35.24 Hourly, $5,004.13 – $6,108.27 Monthly
Level III: $33.52 – $40.92 Hourly, $5,810.13 – $7,092.80 Monthly

Description:

Kings County is seeking highly motivated applicants who exercise sound judgment and discretion with considerable independence to fill one immediate vacancy in the Human Resources Department. The successful candidate must exhibit strong interpersonal skills and strict confidentiality and business ethics.

Qualifications:

Education: Graduation from a four-year college or university with a degree in public administration, business, human resources management, or a related field.

Experience:

Personnel Analyst I
One year of recent experience in technical, professional or administrative personnel work, preferably in a public agency setting.

Personnel Analyst II
Two years of professional-level personnel experience which must include as a primary responsibility one or more of the following: classification and compensation studies; recruitment and employment testing; handling grievances; collective bargaining; or conducting personnel investigations.

Personnel Analyst III
Three years of professional-level experience as a personnel generalist in a public agency setting performing a broad range of personnel functions.

License: Possession of a valid, appropriate California driver’s license issued by the Department of Motor Vehicles.
