Salary:

$84,631 – $103,680/Annually

Description:

Provide County departments with guidance, technical and administrative support on all countywide policies and procedures; participate in preparing Sutter County’s recommended and final annual budgets; advise departments on the creation and implementation of budget models and policies and procedures including future projections and recommendations; conduct special studies; develop proposed solutions when appropriate; increase the public’s understanding of complex issues and encourage participation in the development of solutions and/or alternatives; create, coordinate and oversee multi-departmental and community programs to be sure the County is being managed in the most efficient and effective way possible; monitor and review operations of departments for fiscal, operational and political implications.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience: A Bachelor’s degree with a major in Public Administration, Business Administration, Political Science, Accounting, Economics, Finance, or a closely related field; and four years of progressively responsible experience in administration, management, budget, or governmental administrative and/or analytical work, one year of which must have been at a level equivalent to a Senior Analyst in Sutter County or similarly complex organization. A Master’s Degree in a related field is preferred, and may substitute for one year of the required experience
