The Senior Management Consultant/Manager IV in the Chief Executive Office performs the most complex work in the Management consultant series. Consultative/policy-related decisions are generally high profile and actions have a significant impact on County fiscal viability, legislative positioning, media and public outreach management, and human resources/organizational development operations. The current vacancy is in budgetary/fiscal operations. Typical duties and responsibilities include the development, monitoring and variance management of budgets for the most highly complex agencies and departments and serving in a consultative role to assigned agencies or departments in support of their budgetary and operational goals and objectives.


Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university (Up to one year of experience in providing complex professional-level organizational support in either Human Resources or Finance and Operations may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.) and six (6) years of experience in providing complex professional-level organizational support in Finance and Operations.
