Staff Services Analyst – Senior
Placer County’s Department of Health and Human Services is currently recruiting for a Senior Staff Services Analyst in the Administration Division. This position will report to the Assistant Director of Health and Human Services and will be responsible to:
• Represent the Department at meetings, coordinate and facilitate community meetings; participate in various boards and commissions.
• Conduct and review analytical studies, develop cost analyses, and review compliance regulations and best practices related to Homeless Services and Affordable Housing, Mental Health Managed Care, Substance Use Treatment Services, Rural Health Center Services, Human Services, Public Health Services, Environmental Health Services, and/or Animal Care and Control.
• Evaluate communications and strategic business needs, including annual report(s), communications outreach, and internal communications structures.
• Develop statistical tracking systems and management reports for identification of trends, application of staff resources and funding, grant applications, and reports.
• Review and analyze proposed legislation and advise management on the impact or potential impact to the organization.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications
Experience and Training
Any combination of experience and training that would provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the required knowledge and abilities would be:

Experience: Three years of increasingly responsible work experience conducting detailed analysis requiring the preparation and submission of findings with recommendations, including one year at the Journey level.

Training: Equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in public or business administration, government, political or social science or a related field.
License or Certificate:
May need to possess a valid driver’s license as required by the position. Proof of adequate vehicle insurance and medical clearance may also be required.
Applicants receiving their degree outside the United States must submit proof of accreditation by a recognized evaluation agency.
