Salary:

$4329-$5262/monthly and an excellent benefits package, including a CalPERS Retirement Benefit formula of 2.7% @ 55 for individuals identified as “classic members” pursuant to the provisions of California’s 2013 Pension Reform Act.

The incumbent supervises, assigns, coordinates, reviews, and participates in the work of staff responsible for providing Sheriff’s Department emergency communications operations, functions, and activities; receives and transmits radio and telephone communications; and dispatches law enforcement and other public safety personnel.

Qualifications:

The position requires three (3) years of emergency communications experience equivalent to a Communications Dispatcher I/II with Madera County and equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade. Course work in business, communications, or a related field is desirable.
