Human Resources Director
Colusa County is seeking a Human Resources Director to lead and strengthen its countywide human resources programs while supporting employees, leadership, and the community it serves. This key leadership role partners closely with the County Administrative Officer, Board of Supervisors, and department heads to guide recruitment, labor relations, classification, compensation, and employee relations across the organization.

This position requires a bachelor’s degree with major coursework in human resources, public administration, business administration, or a related field, along with at least five years of progressively responsible professional human resources experience. This experience must include responsibility for directing and determining policy for comprehensive human resources programs, with a minimum of two years of supervisory experience. Public-sector experience, or demonstrated experience interpreting and applying complex, highly regulated employment frameworks, is preferred but not required.
