To support Proposition 36 Behavioral Health Implementation RFI submission, The Center at Sierra Health Foundation (The Center) has posted new resources to help guide counties through the process.
New Resource Available:
The Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) are now available on The Center’s Proposition 36 Website.
The Center encourages a review of FAQs along with the webinar recording and supporting materials to assist with the county’s submission.
Key Reminders:
- Priority Response Deadline: Friday, February 27, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. PST
- Submission Requirements: Include the RFI Scope of Work (SOW) and Budget Workbook; submit through the Submission Portal
- Rolling Contracting: Agreements will be executed as complete submissions are received
- Contract End Date: March 31, 2028
To ensure effective allocation of available funds, counties are strongly encouraged to indicate whether they intend to decline their funding allocation as soon as possible.
