Proposition 64 Public Health & Safety Grant Cohort 4 Seeking Scoring Panel Membership

The Board of State and Community Corrections (BSCC), in partnership with the Department of Cannabis Control, is seeking subject matter experts to serve as proposal scorers for Cohort 4 of the Proposition 64 Public Health & Safety Grant Program.  

Proposition 64 grants provide funding to local governments to support enforcement activities and other initiatives addressing public health and safety impacts associated with the legalization of adult recreational cannabis use in California. 

The BSCC is particularly interested in individuals with expertise in the following areas: 

  • Illicit Market Enforcement 
  • Public Health and Safety Issues Related to Cannabis Legislation 
  • Cannabis Retail and/or Cultivation 
  • Cannabis Education 
  • Environmental Impact and Remediation
