Administrative Analyst
Are you a detail-oriented problem solver that enjoys coordinating meeting logistics and providing support to projects that are making a difference in our region? The Sacramento Area Council of Governments (SACOG) is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Administrative Analyst to provide agency-wide support for arranging meetings with other government agencies and assisting with day-to-day to administrative coordination. This role plays a key part in ensuring meetings, logistics, and internal coordination run smoothly and effectively across the organization.
The Administrative Analyst will demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage a range of tasks while supporting multiple teams across the agency. This role is well suited for someone who enjoys working behind the scenes to coordinate logistics, improve processes, and contribute to projects that support SACOG’s mission.
The position will report to SACOG’s Administrative Support Group Lead and sits within a collaborative group of on the Operations Team. This is an entry-level position in our Analyst class series. The Administrative Analyst will work closely with staff across the agency, including the management team, and will help support and coordinate meetings. This position offers the opportunity to gain broad experience across a variety of administrative and operational functions while contributing to meaningful regional work.

- Coordinate meetings both in-person and virtually, ensuring seamless logistics and preparation.
- Draft and proofread emails, memos, and presentations, maintaining professionalism and clarity in all communications.
- Maintain databases and spreadsheets to organize and track relevant information.
- Anticipate and proactively address the needs of executives and teams.
- Contribute ideas to administrative projects and events.
- Meeting room setup including audiovisual equipment, prepare any necessary materials to be available at meetings.
