Governor Announces Third Batch of HHAP Round 6 Award

This week, Governor Newsom announced the third batch of awards under Round 6 of the Homeless Housing, Assistance, and Prevention (HHAP) program. This latest announcement includes eight regional awards totaling $145.4 million and builds on two earlier announcements this year that funded an additional 23 regions. In total, approximately $724.3 million has been awarded through HHAP Round 6 to date, with 31 of 42 regional applicants receiving funding so far. 

The most recent awards include regions covering Lake, Orange, Riverside, Sacramento, Santa Clara, Solano, Yolo, and Yuba counties. All awarded regions to date, including the amount of funding awarded, is available on the California Department of Housing and Community Development’s HHAP webpage.
