NACo Releases County SNAP Survey 

On Wednesday, August 20, the National Association of Counties (NACo) released a County SNAP Survey seeking county input on changes coming to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) with the passage of H.R. 1. The survey seeks to identify county level successes and challenges of SNAP and inform NACo’s future advocacy efforts. 

NACo has also released a resource detailing the SNAP provisions included in H.R. 1 and how they will impact counties. Additional information on the impacts to CalFresh, California’s SNAP, can be accessed here.
