Winter 2026 Revenue Distribution Training

For those interested, the Judicial Council (JC) and the State Controller’s Office (SCO) recently announced their annual training offered to address impacts of newly enacted legislation to trial court revenue distributions and to highlight other related areas of interest.
This webinar will be offered via Zoom on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, by staff from the JC, the SCO, and the Franchise Tax Board (FTB). The webinar is intended for court, county, city, and parking entity staff that perform revenue collection, distribution, and reporting.
Online registration is required. The deadline to register is Monday, December 29, 2025. Please include any questions that you would like staff to address during the training.

As the training date nears, registrants will receive an email with additional training information/materials. If unable to attend, the audio recording will be posted online, by Friday, January 30, 2026, for viewing at your convenience. This session will highlight current and pending bills on the collection, distribution, and/or reporting of court-ordered debt including:
- Legislative changes (JC)
- Trial Court Revenue Distribution Guidelines (SCO)
- 2026 Uniform Bail and Penalty Schedule Revisions (JC)
- Collections Program (JC)
- FTB Collections Programs
- Audits Update (SCO)
