CSAC’s 2021 Annual Meeting

November 29 – December 3 in Monterey County!

Registration is now open for CSAC’s 127th Annual Meeting, scheduled for November 29th thru December 3rd in Monterey County! This year’s meeting theme, Lighthouse of Leadership, exemplifies the amazing strength and determination that California’s Counties have demonstrated as they led, and continue to lead, their communities through the turbulent storms of the pandemic, wildfires, and other challenging circumstances to emerge more resilient, connected, and strategic. 


CSAC Institute for Excellence in County Government

CSAC Institute for Excellence in County Government is a professional, practical continuing education program for senior county staff and elected officials. Its goal is to expand capacity and capability of county elected officials and senior staff to provide extraordinary services to their communities. The Institute was established in 2008 and is a component of the California Counties Foundation, Inc. and the California State Association of Counties (CSAC). Nearly 6,000 county staff and elected officials have taken courses.

New County Supervisors Institute

Every two years CSAC Institute offers newly elected county supervisors this extensive seminar designed to provide them with background foundation on the myriad of county policy issues, the basics of county government, and the role of county supervisor.
