California County Café January Gathering

The California Department of Water Resources (DWR), in partnership with California State Association of Counties (CSAC), is convening a series of virtual roundtable-style gatherings for the planning and implementation of SB 552 (Hertzberg, Statutes of 2021).  

California County Café gatherings are open to county staff and managers responsible for SB 552 implementation, especially the development of their corresponding County Drought Resilience Plan. Elected officials, regulatory agencies, and interested parties are welcome to tune in. 

Join us for the next Café gathering featuring a presentation from UC Agriculture and Natural Resources introducing an effort focused on understanding county SB 552 plan development, stakeholder engagement, and implementation considerations. The session will also feature Marin County and Mono County, which will share reflections on completing their plans and early implementation efforts.
