CalAIM Program Administrator II
THE POSITION
The Ventura County Probation Agency seeks a Program Administrator II to support the CalAIM Justice Involved Initiative, enhancing Medi-Cal services for incarcerated youth at Ventura County Juvenile Facilities. This role coordinates and monitors mandated Pre-Release Services, collaborates with stakeholders, and ensures compliance with CalAIM objectives. Work is primarily onsite in Oxnard, CA, with coverage seven days a week (excluding holidays) by two staff.
IDEAL CANDIDATES
Ideal candidates will have knowledge of justice-involved populations, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively. Organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities are essential. This recruitment will fill two full-time positions and may be used for future vacancies.
The eligible list established from this recruitment will be used to fill current and future Regular, Temporary, Fixed-Term, and Intermittent vacancies for this position only. There are currently two (2) Regular, full-time vacancies in the Ventura County Probation Agency.
EDUCATION, TRAINING and EXPERIENCE
Any combination of education, training, and experience which has led to acquisition of the required knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSAs).
Possession of the required KSAs may typically be demonstrated by one of the following combinations of education and experience:
- Possession of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Business, Public Administration, Psychology, Social Work, Human Services, Behavioral Health, or a related field
AND
- 1 year of experience interpreting and implementing governmental regulations which includes experience with contracts and/or grants
OR
- 5 years of progressively responsible administrative managerial experience, experience interpreting and implementing governmental regulations, experience with contracts and/or grants.
Education/Experience Substitution
Related experience may be substituted for the education requirement on a year for year basis.

NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
