Child Support Supervisor
The Alameda County Department of Child Support Services is offering an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of children and families as a Child Support Supervisor.
The Child Support Supervisor leads and develops a team of child support caseworkers and/or support staff, with the goal of helping parents work together to ensure their children receive the financial and medical support they need to thrive. This role is responsible for: organizing, directing, and supervising the daily operations of an assigned team; training employees and ensuring compliance with all laws and regulations pertaining to child support; and collaborating with the broader leadership team to work on initiatives and projects.

To qualify, you must meet one of the following criteria:
Path A
- Experience: Three years of full-time experience performing child support specialist duties comparable to the Child Support Specialist II.
Path B
- Experience: Four years of full-time case management experience in child support or other collection work, including court and supervisory experience. Two of the four years must have been at the supervisory level.
NOTE: Education Substitution – A bachelor’s degree may substitute for one year of the required work experience in Path A or B.
