The Solano Transportation Authority (STA) seeks a visionary Executive Director to lead the agency serving one of Northern California’s fastest-growing regions. Reporting to STA’s Board of Directors, the Executive Director will guide a highly collaborative organization, shaping mobility and quality of life for more than 450,000 residents.

The ideal candidate brings a strong background in transportation planning, programming, and project delivery, along with proven fiscal stewardship, consensus-building skills, and a track record of navigating complex political environments with integrity. A bachelor’s degree in a related field (master’s preferred) and ten years of progressively responsible experience, including at least four at the director level (or equivalent), are required.
