Solano County is seeking an accomplished Unified Communications Engineer to help guide enterprise communications strategy, cloud communications adoption, contact center modernization, collaboration technologies, and vendor-delivered communications solutions.
In this senior technical leadership role, you’ll serve as a trusted advisor across Countywide communications initiatives, helping ensure platforms are secure, resilient, scalable, cost-effective, and aligned with organizational goals.
The ideal candidate brings deep experience with Cisco Unified Communications, cloud calling, contact center technologies, collaboration platforms, communications security, networking, and modernization efforts. This role is not focused on personnel management or routine support, but on leading through technical expertise, sound judgment, and meaningful technology outcomes.
