The County Administrative Office is currently seeking a Legislative Program Manager to manage the County’s Legislative Program- and Strategic Grant Services Program. This is an exciting opportunity to perform critical work to ensure the County of Monterey’s interests are advocated for at the state and federal levels. This position will act as a liaison between the County and state, federal, and local agencies on matters of mutual interest that require coordination. The individual chosen for this role will serve as a legislative spokesperson for the County and work collaboratively to develop and implement the County’s local, regional, state, and federal legislative agenda. This position works closely with the County Administrative Officer, other CAO executive staff, County Department Heads and elected officials, and the Board of Supervisors.
