The Community Development Resource Agency is seeking applications for one Project Manager vacancy in the Placer County Conservation Program (PCCP)!

This position will be responsible for assisting with the implementation of the PCCP and its natural resource mitigation, conservation, and restoration activities. The ideal candidate will have experience with natural resource lands management, contract management, natural community and species monitoring, and basic geographic information systems (GIS) operations.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience: No experience required.
  • Training: Equivalent to a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in business or public administration, facility management, property management, construction management, architecture, civil engineering, project management, communications, land use, urban development, planning, finance, real estate, or a related field.

Required License or Certificate:

  • When assigned to asbestos management program:
    • Possession of an Environmental Protection Agency Asbestos Inspector/Manager/ Planner Certification is required.
  • When assigned to manage fire life safety systems:
    • Possession of an electronic fire life systems certificate issued by the National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies within twelve (12) months of employment.
    • Possession of a fire alarm servicing certificate issued by the National Fire Protection Association within twelve (12) months of employment.
    • Possession of life safety system factory certificates or equivalent professional certifications as determined by the department within twelve (12) months of employment.
  • Possession of professional certifications as related to area of assignment, as determined by the department.
  • Possession of a project management certificate is desirable.
