Tindall v. County of Nevada (C099205)

The case raises the question of whether ice and snow in a county-owned parking lot is a dangerous condition that subjects the County to tort liability. CSAC’s amicus brief argues that parking lots are entitled to the same immunities as streets and highways as a matter of law and for reasons of public policy. The brief was drafted by John Castro and Greg Charles in the Santa Clara County Counsel’s Office.
