The Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) will host a public webinar, “Connecting Services for the ECM Justice Involved (JI) Population of Focus Throughout the Reentry and Post-Release Process,” on Friday, May 16 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Advance registration is required.

The webinar is part of a series of PATH Collaborative Planning and Implementation (CPI) webinars designed to highlight best practices for implementing Enhanced Care Management (ECM) and Community Supports, increase providers’ participation in CalAIM, and improve collaboration between Medi-Cal managed care plans (MCPs), state and local government agencies, and other Medi-Cal stakeholders.

The webinar is open to the public, but will be of most benefit to correctional facilities, counties and county behavioral health agencies, MCPs, ECM and Community Supports providers, and others supporting justice-involved individuals. Topics that will be covered during the webinar include:

  • Utilization of JI referral and billing toolkits.
  • Strategies to increase JI referrals for ECM and Community Supports providers.
  • Reentry care plans designed to support linkages and handoffs to community-based organizations, justice-involved agencies, and MCPs.

All webinar recordings and best practices resources will be made available on the PATH CPI webpage under the “Best Practices and Resources” section. For questions related to this webinar or PATH CPI, please email collaborative@ca-path.com.
