COPS Office Grant Opportunity: School Violence Prevention Program (SVPP)

The U.S. Justice Department’s Office of Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS) has announced a new federal grant opportunity intended to reduce violence in schools. 

The 2025 COPS Office School Violence Prevention Program is a competitive program that provides funding directly to States, local governments, Indian tribes and public agencies for improving security at schools and on school grounds.  Up to $73 million is available for this program.
