Multi-State Information Sharing and Analysis Center Services for California Public Sector Entities
Back to News
The California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES) is offering FREE enrollment in the Multi-State Information Sharing and Analysis Center (MS-ISAC) for California public entities, to include state, local, tribal, and territorial (SLTT) partners.
Cal OES strongly encourages every county, as a California SLTT partner, to enroll immediately. MS-ISAC is designed to assist members to strengthen their cybersecurity postures, through:
- Cyber threat intelligence sharing;
- Early warning of potential cyber incidents, incident response, and forensic analysis;
- A 24/7 security operations center; and
- MemberConnect, a communication platform that allows the enrolled California entities to share information, integrate, and coordinate on any and all cybersecurity related matters.
This statewide sponsorship ensures you have the resources and community needed to stay ahead of evolving cyber threats.
Enrollment Guidance
Only one individual will need to “enroll” your county. Cal OES generally recommend this be an individual with insight into your agency’s cybersecurity posture, as they can determine what cyber security services are most relevant for your agency and share the requisite information (such as IP address ranges) to ensure the agency in various services.
Once the agency is enrolled, any and all county staff can log-in under the county account in MS-ISAC to access the various services. They will use the same link below.
