NACo Launches Federal Government Shutdown Resource Hub

The National Association of Counties (NACo) has launched a Federal Government Shutdown Resource Hub to support counties as the U.S. government shutdown enters its fifth week. 

The hub provides counties with tools, data, and advocacy materials to help navigate the shutdown’s impacts. This includes NACo analysis of affected programs, sample talking points, and template letters to Congress. 

Counties are encouraged to help strengthen NACo’s federal advocacy by completing the county impact survey and sharing examples of local media coverage. Together, counties can help ensure Washington understands how the shutdown affects communities across the nation.
