Dr. Ulrich Jensen’s Create Inspiration and Engagement with Charisma has been rescheduled for Friday, March 6, 2026. The CSAC Institute is excited to deliver this course virtually to our county network.
Recently, the Kern County Management Council hosted Dr. Jensen’s training. According to the Council President, Joe Arriola, the program was both substantive and well-delivered. The session was described as exceptionally interactive, integrating rigorous research with practical exercises that immediately provided usable techniques. These techniques extended beyond soft‑skill communication to include leadership and hard‑skill management.
“Dr. Jensen’s structured system for developing clear, engaging, and charismatic presentations was intuitive, evidence-based, and accessible to leaders across the County. The material reflected meaningful growth since I last attended a condensed version of this training, broadening its scope and deepening the understanding of how charisma influences behavior, trust, and outcomes.
This training delivers measurable value for public-sector leaders navigating complex organizational and community challenges. The California Counties Foundation would be well served by Dr. Jensen’s work.” – Joe Arriola President, Kern County Management Council
About the Course: County leaders need to communicate effectively to lead organizational change, inspire staff with their vision for public service, share county programs with residents, and engage with elected officials. This workshop introduces leaders to a set of specific influencing tactics – known as charismatic leadership tactics – they can use in their own leadership to drive change, motivate, and engage others, and create a pathway for inspiration in their organization. This workshop builds on a one-of-a-kind, science-based leadership development program designed and evaluated by Dr. Ulrich Jensen and has proven to enhance and refine participants’ leadership skills, including their ability to motivate others and retain talent in their organizations.
We hope you’ll join us for the course on Friday, March 6!
