The CSAC Foundation is now accepting registrations for its next live offering of the SB 827 Fiscal & Financial Management Training, designed to help local elected and appointed officials, as well as designated employees, meet the requirements of California’s state-mandated fiscal training law (Government Code § 53238).
This instructor-led training provides a practical, high-level overview of public agency fiscal management and fiduciary responsibilities, including budgeting principles, financial oversight, internal controls, revenue sources and expenditures, and the legal and ethical responsibilities associated with the stewardship of public funds.
