State Library Offers Workshop on Accessing State and Local Agency Data

On Friday, January 30 from 1:30 to 2:30 PM the California State Library’s California Research Bureau Nexus will host a workshop led by Kris Kasianovitz, Library Director at the UC Berkeley Institute of Governmental Studies, on navigating and accessing state and local government data. During the workshop, Kasianovitz will provide an overview of how state and local agency data is collected, managed, and accessed as well as practical guidance for policy professionals looking to use public data to inform their decisions.
