The California Department of Aging (CDA) and the California Health and Human Services Agency (CalHHS) recently released the Fifth California Master Plan for Aging Report. The report highlights progress made in 2025 and shares updates on the Master Plan for Aging’s (MPA’s) “Five Bold Goals” in the categories of housing, health, inclusion and equity, caregiving, and affordability. In addition, updated 2025 County Profiles of Older Adults are now available on the MPA Data Dashboard. These county profiles combine data from multiple sources to provide an overview of characteristics and needs in each California County. Additional information and resources related to the MPA are available on CDA’s website.
