WATCH: California State Association of Counties Gubernatorial Candidate Forum

With the June primary election less than half a year away, the California State Association of Counties hosted six leading candidates for governor Friday at CSAC’s 131st Annual Meeting in Santa Clara County.

The candidates who participated were:

• Former U.S. Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra
• Businessman Steve Hilton
• Former Representative Katie Porter
• Businessman Tom Steyer
• State Superintendent of Public Instruction Tony Thurmond
• Former State Controller Betty Yee

The forum was moderated by KQED political reporter and podcast host Marisa Lagos. It will be broadcast on several California public radio stations in the coming days.
