Litigation Coordination Program
What We Do
CSAC sponsors the Litigation Coordination Program, administered by the County Counsels’ Association. This program is guided by the Litigation Overview Committee, which includes county counsels representing diverse regions across the state, and is supported by a litigator coordinator based in Sacramento.
The program plays a pivotal role in:
- Monitoring litigation that impacts counties statewide.
- Coordinating defense efforts for significant multi-county litigation.
- Providing amicus curiae (friend of the court) support in cases of interest.
- Disseminating timely updates and litigation alerts on public law issues to county counsels.
