CSAC Elects Leadership for 2014
The members of the California State Association of Counties (CSAC) elected a new leadership team at the organization’s Annual Meeting last week in San Jose, Santa Clara County.
Contra Costa Supervisor John Gioia will serve as CSAC President; Stanislaus County Supervisor Vito Chiesa will serve as First Vice President; and Amador County Supervisor Richard Forster will serve as Second Vice President. Del Norte County Supervisor David Finigan assumes the role of Immediate Past President.CSAC Officers serve a one-year term.
In addition, each county caucus (Urban, Suburban and Rural) elected new representatives to CSAC’s Executive Committee. The Committee now consists of:
Urban Caucus – Federal Glover, Contra Costa; Don Knabe, Los Angeles; Kathy Long, Ventura; John Moorlach, Orange; John Tavaglione, Riverside; Ken Yeager, Santa Clara; and Keith Carson, Alameda (alternate).
Suburban Caucus – Susan Adams, Marin; Bruce Gibson, San Luis Obispo; Henry Perea, Fresno; and Linda Seifert, Solano (alternate).
Rural Caucus -- Virginia Bass, Humboldt; Bob Williams, Tehama; and Kim Vann, Colusa (alternate).
