Broadband Grant Opportunity – Rural eConnectivity Program
The United States Department of Agriculture has announced that
beginning September 6, 2022, applications can be submitted for
the Rural eConnectivity Program (ReConnect) Program. Applications
will be accepted until November 2, 2022.
The ReConnect Program provides loans, grants, and loan/grant
combinations to facilitate broadband deployment in rural areas.
In facilitating the expansion of broadband services and
infrastructure, the program will fuel long-term economic
development and opportunities in rural areas. County governments
are included as eligible applicants, which are eligible for
grants ranging from $100,000 to $35 million.
