The California Department of Housing and Community Development
(HCD) invites stakeholders to weigh in on continued improvements
to deliver more housing, faster, to communities all across the
state through the Multifamily Finance Super Notice of
Funding Availability (NOFA).
Streamlining the guidelines, application, and release of several
state affordable housing funding resources accelerates the
production and preservation of more affordable housing on our
shared mission to end and prevent homelessness.
HCD has
proposed substantive changes to the Multifamily Finance Super
NOFA to help California continue to invest in deeply affordable
homes for families, farmworkers, veterans, and people
experiencing homelessness. The proposed changes can be found in
the
summary memo.
Final changes will be effective in the next Multifamily Finance
Super NOFA, scheduled for release late April 2023.
