The National Association of Counties Research Foundation
(NACoRF), partner of The National Collaborative for Infants and
Toodlers (NCIT), officially launched their Counties for
Kids website
and public awareness campaign this week. The Counties for Kids
campaign aims to engage county leaders committed to investments
in young children and promote the important role counties play in
early childhood development.
The website provides a central location for local leaders across
the country to join in robust early child development policy
discussions and educational tools. NACoRF will identify webinars,
research, networking and learning opportunities, as well as
strategies that uphold the importance of collective impact to
support children and families from the earliest moments possible.
Counties, local leaders and organizations who support efforts
that improve system coordination and encourage leveraging of
resources locally, statewide, and nationally can participate in
learning opportunities scheduled in the future. CSAC encourages
California county leaders with a strong interest in early
childhood development to examine these new resources and learning
