CSAC Legislative Conference to Be Held Virtually
February 25, 2020
Registration is now open for the 2021 CSAC Legislative Conference, which will be held virtually from April 21-23. The meeting will feature sessions and workshops over a three-day period that can be attended from the comfort of your own home or office. From the ongoing pandemic response to the Governor’s proposed 2021-22 state budget and hundreds of recently introduced bills, there is much to learn about – and discuss – during the conference.
The conference schedule is designed to minimize conflicts, allowing participants to attend as many sessions and workshops as they like. Day one of the virtual conference will enable each of the CSAC Policy Committees to tackle priority issues and major legislative proposals for updates and consideration by the CSAC Board of Directors. There will also be opportunities for the Urban, Rural, and Suburban Caucus to convene.
Day two of the conference will feature a pair of workshops. Reimagining the World of Work will focus on getting back to work following the COVID-19 pandemic. Understanding the Basics of How Housing is Financed and Built will be more legislative in focus and address the ongoing need for affordable housing statewide. Both workshops are designed to inform and influence our activities in the coming weeks and months, so don’t miss out.
The deadline to register is Friday, April 16. We look forward to seeing you virtually in April. Register Today!
