CSAC Partners with The Ferguson Group to Offer New Grant Services Program
September 13, 2022
The California State Association of Counties® is thrilled to announce an exclusive new service for counties: the CSAC Grants Initiative. Recognizing the increasing demand for county services and the need to stretch every dollar further, more and more counties are seeking grant funding opportunities to meet the needs of their residents.
There is a wealth of grant funding opportunities available to counties – almost too many to count! – and we co-created the CSAC Grants Initiative with The Ferguson Group (TFG) to better guide counties through grant identification, preparation, and writing as well as help your county better understand the opportunities that exist and, most importantly, strategically position your county to be the most competitive.
CSAC and TFG are hosting a kickoff webinar on Thursday, September 22, from 1:30 – 2:00 p.m. to explain our new partnership to support and best position California counties for all grant opportunities. Counties are encouraged to REGISTER HERE for the webinar.
The kickoff webinar is only the first exciting step for the CSAC Grants Initiative! We will send counties a weekly e-newsletter alert highlighting recently announced open grant solicitations, and have additional webinars planned.
TFG will also offer CSAC members immediate access to the following key services, including their:
- Database of successful grant applications.
- Grant funding guides and profile library.
- Team of grants experts.
- Individualized assistance including grant writing and personalized grant consultation.
In the coming weeks, CSAC will issue a Grant Engagement Survey so that we can better tailor the program to your unique county needs.
This CSAC Grants Initiative is the brainchild of CSAC President and Siskiyou County Supervisor Ed Valenzuela, who recognized the need for grants assistance to counties of all sizes.
