CSAC Webinar with Cal Cities: Local Streets and Roads Needs Assessment

July 29, 2021

Join the California State Association of Counties and the League of California Cities for an informational webinar on Wednesday, August 25 from 10 11 AM to share the results of the 2020 Local Streets and Roads Needs Assessment Report, which will be released in August.

New in this edition of the report are a discussion of the first statewide data on the impacts of SB 1 on local streets and roads, as well as an enhanced analysis of local bridge funding needs. With infrastructure at the top of the federal agenda, the webinar and report provide cities and counties with valuable information to advocate for a fair share of transportation infrastructure funding.

The 2020 Report provides a comprehensive and systematic assessment of the state’s local street and road network including pavements, bridges and essential components like sidewalks, traffic signals, and storm drains. The first comprehensive statewide study of California’s local street and road system was completed in 2008, providing critical analysis and information on the local transportation network’s condition and funding needs. Each subsequent report has monitored these changes biennially.

Space on the webinar is limited, so register now!
