Request for Applications: Local Aging & Disability Action Planning Grant Program Round 2

August 31, 2023

The California Department of Aging (CDA) released a Request for Applications for Round 2 of the Local Aging & Disability Action Planning (LADAP) Grant Program this week. These grants, which will range between $75,000 to $200,000 per awarded applicant, will be used to develop local age and disability-friendly action plans. The goals of the LADAP Grant Program align with California’s Master Plan for Aging and the state’s commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility.

Eligible applicants include local government agencies, non-government organizations, tribal organizations, and 501(c)(3) non-profits that represent communities that do not already have a local age-friendly plan. CDA will accept written questions sent to MPALocalSupport@aging.ca.gov by Wednesday, September 6, 2023, at 5:00 p.m. Applications for the LADAP Grant Program Round 2 will be accepted until Monday, October 2, 2023, at 5:00 pm. Additional information about the grant, including application guidance, checklists, and templates, can be found at the LADAP Grant Program webpage.
