For those interested, the Board of State and Community Corrections (BSCC) will host its Board Meeting on Thursday, April 11 at 10:00am, with in-person and virtual attendance options available. Office of the State Public Defender Quarterly Interactive Conversation re: Indigent Defense – April 17

Office of the State Public Defender is hosting its quarterly interactive conversation regarding indigent defense on April 17th from 1-2 p.m. Registration Link for facilitated discussion.

County administrators, county counsel and data analysts who administer panel and contract systems are invited to attend to discuss current questions and issues regarding their indigent defense systems.  

The meeting will discuss how opioid settlement funds can be used to support public defender clients and how new changes in Public Service Loan Forgiveness may benefit panel and contract attorneys.
