$7,030 – $8,545/Monthly*

Description:

The Administrative Support Services Manager will report to the Assistant County Administrator and will be directly responsible for providing services to three different departments: CAO, Office of Equity, and the Independent Office of Law Enforcement Review and Outreach (IOLERO). The Administrative Support Services Manager will prepare and monitor the departments’ annual budgets, be responsible for the recruitment, hiring and onboarding of employees, be responsible for staff training and safety compliance, keep and update confidential personnel files, oversee all discipline, disability, and discrimination matters, manage and track contracts, and serve as the departments’ safety officer.

Qualifications:

In addition, the selected skilled professional will serve as the County’s central Continuity of Operations (COOP) coordinator during disaster events.

The CAO is seeking a candidate that has a proven track record of leadership and has experience:

• Developing and managing operational budgets
• Managing recruitments, payroll, safety programs, and ergonomic evaluations
• Overseeing leaves of absence in accordance with multiple leave laws
• Communicating disaster event-related information to keep managers and employees informed
• Developing, maintaining, and implementing effective office process and procedures
• Collaborating and coordinating with multiple executive managers and their teams
