Salary:

$157,514 – $191,451 Annually*

Description:

Starting salary negotiable up to $191,451/year, plus a cash allowance of approximately $600/month and excellent benefits.
As an integral member of the Executive team, the Assistant Director of Human Services is responsible for assisting the Director in the development, integration, and implementation of Human Services Department programs and functions.

Qualifications:

• Experience leading a public or community based social services agency with a focus on delivering services to vulnerable populations and the community
• An understanding and awareness of Sonoma County culture, diversity, social service needs, and community partnerships
• Experience participating in and being involved with local, regional, state, and national organizations and collaborative associations
• A proven ability to be a collaborative team builder with Human Services Divisions, County Departments, and community agencies
• Strong political acumen, with experience working with elected and appointed public officials as well as community leaders and stakeholders
